Locking your store content is just as the app name suggests: "Easy".

The first step is to go to the app "Dashboard, then press "create lock"

then, you would need to choose the lock criteria

as seen in the past screen shot the app has 4 main categories of locks: Based on login status, based on selection, based on geolocation, and based on access.

| Note: on the right side you would see the progress bar and a tab to name your lock, plus the lock type and its status

after that, press next on the top of screen to move to the next page, to choose when the lock should be activated

On the next page, you can choose which content to lock

Who can access your content

The first step of creating a lock on your store is choosing who can access the content that you are locking:

The choice is divided into 4 main categories:

login status: you can choose who can access the locked content based on their login status, either logged in or non-logged in, this selection has no more filters.
Selection status: you can choose wither a selection of customers are allowed or locked from viewing the locked content.

This selection has two main filters: By Rule, and Manual selection, each of them has its own rules:

For the "By Role" it contains multiple roles, you can choose one or multiple list of rules

How to uninstall the app

||| Before uninstalling the app, please make sure that you have removed all active locks on your store, Removal of the app with enabled locks may make your website inaccessible!

How to install Easy Lockdown

Thank you for choosing Easy Lockdown, the app initial setup is really simple, as after installation, the application automatically adds its code to the active theme in the store.

However, if the theme is changed or updated, the code will be missing and the locks will not work there, that is also a simple fix, just go to "Installation" (Apps → EasyLockdown → Installation), choose your current active theme and hit enable. that section would allow you to disable the app on themes if needed.

With Easy Lockdown , you can easily lock your entire Shopify store or specific pages. This feature is helpful if you want to restrict access to your store or particular pages for customers based on different conditions.

To lock your whole Shopify store or specific pages, follow these steps:

Install the EasyLockdown application from the Shopify App Store.
Go to the EasyLockdown dashboard and create a new Lock.
Select the “Whole Website” or “Selected content ” on the “Content to Lock” step.
Select the specific pages you want to lock or leave visible.
Save your changes.
